Advocacy Strategies is an Iowa based government relations and public affairs consulting firm that was founded in 2003 to help organizations build and implement successful policies and strategies at the local, state, and federal levels. Throughout their existence they have been dedicated to helping their clients advance their missions and priorities in order to bring about positive change.  

Together, Threase and her team have over 35 years of combined experience in government relations, lobbying, public affairs, grassroots advocacy, communication services, strategic planning, and training facilitation. This year’s legislative team consists of Threase Harms, Kent Hartwig, Kyle Frette, Stephanie Abbott, and Jenny Schulte who will be working diligently on The Farmers Union’s 2010 legislative priorities.
