History and Mission of the IFU Education Foundation
The Iowa Farmers Union Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1998 to carry out the educational programs at the heart of the Farmers Union mission. Education forms at the base of the Farmers Union triangle because we believe that education is the foundation of our growth and our success.
The mission of the IFU Education Foundation is to promote a viable system of sustainable agriculture and high quality of life in rural communities through education of farmers, rural residents, and urban consumers; cooperation among farmers; and citizen activism.
